The other day we were having dinner at Larry's parents house. Alaina had to go to the bathroom. Larry took her up and placed the toddler potty seat onto the toilet. Alaina,noticing the little shield that can be attached to it to keep little boys from accidentally spraying out of the toilet, inquired what it was for. Larry explained.
She asked, "Is that because boys pee different?"
"Yes," replied Larry.
"Because they have a wee wee?"
"Yes. But it is called a penis," said Larry.
Alaina quietly contemplated this for a minute, softly whispering the new word a few times. "Penis. Penis."
And then, with great authority she sat up straight and said, "Yeah, but its last name is wee wee!"
